No. We welcome both medical aid members and private/cash patients. If you have a medical aid, we'll bill them directly. If not, you pay the consultation fee at the time of your visit. Ask us about fees when you book.
Yes, walk-ins are welcome during practice hours. However, we recommend booking ahead to avoid waiting. You can register online in 2 minutes and book a time that works for you.
After booking a telehealth appointment, you'll receive a video call link via email or SMS. At your appointment time, click the link and you'll be connected directly with Dr. Lelo. Prescriptions and sick notes are sent to your phone or email.
If you've completed your online registration and health profile, you just need your ID and medical aid card (if applicable). That's it — no paperwork, no clipboards. If you haven't registered yet, arrive 10 minutes early and we'll help you get set up.
Yes. We are committed to compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Your information is encrypted in transit, stored on platforms with industry-standard security controls, and accessible only to authorised members of your care team. This Privacy Notice tells you how Dr Concierge collects and uses your personal information, in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA, Section 18).
Dr Concierge (Pty) Ltd is a private medical practice, with Dr. Khadija Lelo Latakgomo (HPCSA registered medical practitioner) as the responsible practitioner. We operate from two locations in Johannesburg (Grayston and The MARC).

To register you as a patient, schedule and manage appointments, provide healthcare services, communicate with you about your care, bill you or your medical aid, and meet our legal and professional obligations under the Health Professions Act and POPIA.
You are not required to provide your information. However, certain information (name, contact details, ID, consent) is necessary for us to register you and provide care. Without it, we may not be able to consult with you.
Some of our service providers (e.g. GoHighLevel) process data outside South Africa. Where this happens, we ensure the receiving party is bound to a level of protection at least equivalent to POPIA.
Your information is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and stored on platforms with industry-standard security controls. Access is limited to authorised members of your care team. We never sell your data.
We retain your information for as long as required by South African law for medical records (currently a minimum of six years from the date of last entry, longer for minors), and only for as long as necessary thereafter.
