Dr. Lelo Latakgomo is the Founder and Lead Medical Practitioner of Dr. Concierge . She holds an MBChB from the University of Cape Town which she completed in 2008. She has a special interest in and is experienced in preventative care and Primary Healthcare/Family Medicine.

Why Dr. Concierge was established

Dr. Lelo established Dr. Concierge to improve the ease of access to quality healthcare, particularly aimed at busy career driven professionals in their homes, offices or hotels, who can’t afford to skip a beat. It is also for families who can’t get to the her practice offices, but still want the best care available in the convenience of their homes.

First-hand experience

Dr. Lelo acquired her substantial experience by working both in the public and private sectors of South Africa. Beyond South Africa, Dr. Lelo spent some time in Canada as a Family/Primary healthcare doctor looking after the local clinic, hospital and long-term care facility. In addition, is an ex-McKinsey consultant, Dr. Lelo’s first-hand experience of the high-pressured corporate environment. She understands the complexities of juggling personal well-being alongside a corporate career.

Patient-centred care

In her practice, she employs system based models and practices evidence based medicine which she has learned locally and internationally to optimise her approach to patient-centred care. With contemporary methods to primary healthcare, she runs a health outcomes-based practice which prioritises preventive medicine using a multidisciplinary approach.
